About Taylor

Hello! My name is Taylor Dillon.
I was born and raised in New York. I've lived in various towns with in the Hudson Valley, where I currently reside.
Ever since I was young I was interested in acting, however it wasn't until I was an extra in the movie Return (2011), where my appreciation for behind the scenes work blossomed. Ever since then I switched my focus to crew work.
During my sophomore year in high school, a video production class was opened and I started to produce school projects such as music videos, PSA's, short films, and silent films. After I graduated high school in 2015, I attended SUNY Orange in the New Media program to further my film studies. During my time at SUNY Orange I made many connections. I soon started to work for a local company as a 2nd shooter for weddings. Soon after, I took my knowledge and started to shoot weddings myself as a freelancer. Soon I started to work on various commercial shoots, and started to help produce content for the SUNY Orange New Media Instagram page. I graduated from SUNY Orange with an Associates in Applied Science degree.
In the summer of 2018, I traveled with my friend's record label, Pass Along Knowledge Yourself (P.A.K.Y) to sponsor the last ever full cross-country Vans Warped Tour. I documented the events of the tour daily, to produce a documentary for the label (which is still being edited).
In 2022 I graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a bachelor's in Fine Arts with a Digital Media Production Degree.
